I design for complexity. The domain changes. The way I work doesn't.
One of my onboarding flows replaced 3–4 sales calls. Another shipped in 6 weeks during COVID — offline visits dropped by half.

Designed and shipped a psychology app — from idea to live product in 4 weeks
Clinical psychologist's methodology, no way to reach a global audience. I proposed going digital — designed and built the entire product myself. No developers. No budget.

My design journey
It started with me plastering Britney Spears and puppy photos into my friend's journal, adding captions in truly terrible neon colours. That chaotic little project somehow turned into a lifelong love for making things people actually enjoy using.
Now I'm in Worcester, designing complex products that don't make people want to throw their laptops out the window. I love untangling messy dashboards and helping junior designers find their groove.
I studied Ecology. It turns out that's not such an odd background for this work. Ecosystems don't have a single point of control — they're held together by dependencies, feedback loops, and the things that happen when one variable shifts. Complex products work the same way. I tend to find the structural problem before proposing the surface fix, and I think that's where the ecology training actually lives.
When I'm not at my desk, I'm usually hiking — still hunting for patterns, just in nature instead of user flows. New terrain keeps the thinking fresh. That's true for landscapes and for domains.

Users needed 4 sales calls just to understand basic filtering. I redesigned the system so they didn't.
